The ethnographic region of Horňácko is situated at the foot of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. Along with folklore, the dialect, clothes and crafts are present in everyday life, and it is no wonder that you will also find the typical Horňácko style in construction.
The train will take you to Velká nad Veličkou and the green tourist marker will lead you to the Horňácký Okruh (Horňácko Region Circuit) bike trail. The wind mill of the Dutch type in Kuželov is the only such specimen in Moravia. You can see not only agricultural and milling equipment inside, but also fluffy duvets in the bed, a cradle for a baby and a loom in the original sitting room.
From the mill, go along the Kuželovský Okruh (Kuželov Circuit) bike trail to Hrubá Vrbka. After the evangelical church, turn to the backyards to see the protected set of adobe barns. Then back to the village, go around a small cemetery and you will see a stone room in front of house No. 87 with a small exhibition of the interior.
You can extend your way back to Velká nad Veličkou again. The cold lager from the Velický Bombarďák mini-brewery in the Horňácký Šenk brewery pub will perfectly complete your ethnographic journey.
