Velká Dohoda Area

Away from civilization, in the heart of the Moravian Karst. The former quarry offers much more than just boring old rocks.

Quarrying and excavating was carried out here from 1928, but all those activities stopped half a century later and nature has been taking the quarry back ever since. Treat yourself to relaxation, fun, exercise and adrenaline among the limestone rocks.

Fly above the quarry! You can jump into a 30-metre-deep abyss and zoom over the quarry for 191 metres at a speed of almost 50 kph. If you are preparing for the mountains, this place offers 150 meters of training ferratas (secured paths). You can try rock climbing on a 15-metre-high limestone climbing wall. All necessary equipment and an instructor is available on site. There is also a rope centre for kids – entertaining and adventurous, yet safe – and a playground for kids age three and up.

Friendly staff, refreshments and information boards about the surrounding nature are a bonus which will put Velká Dohoda among your favourite trip destinations!
