The trip begins in Moravský Krumlov, a small town which is preparing for the promised masterpiece, the Slav Epic by Alfons Mucha. Before you have a chance to see it with your own eyes, admire the canvases which nature has painted in the area. Follow the nature trail from the square. Along the way from the Chapel of St. Florian to the Chapel of the Virgin Mary you will come to a waterfall, which falls from a height of up to 11 meters after a heavy rain or when snow is melting.
Then the small town of Rokytná welcomes you, near which the remains of a large Slavic fort called Rokyten can be found. The name comes from the willow tree, which was called rokyta in Old Slavonic. If you have found this trip too calm, you will raise your adrenaline levels now. Your next journey leads across a rope bridge above a river! Add two kilometres and visit the enclosure full of deer, mouflon sheep, roe deer and wild boar. Stick to the marked trail though, so that you do not get lost and run into a majestic twelve-point buck.
You have reached your final destination now – the town of Ivančice is waiting for you! This is a little town at the confluence of three rivers: Jihlava, Rokytná and Oslava. As a reward, treat yourself to something sweet and artisanal in the Your-Coffee family-run confectionery!
