Every republic has its president and government. Of course, the Free Federal Republic of Kraví Hora near Bořetice has these things too! And there is the Kraví Hora lookout tower nearby.
It is worth going to Bořetice, and not only to sample good wine. Near the border of the Free Federal Republic of Kraví Hora, the Kraví Hora lookout tower stands on the Olbramy hill at an altitude of 272 meters. It is made of wood, with four floors and sixty-five stairs leading to the observation gallery at a height of twelve metres. You can reach it along a path between the wine cellars and it is a nice scenic walk. Right next to the lookout tower, in a garden surrounded by a wooden fence, there is a wayside shrine decorated with typical motifs of the Slovácko region.
You can see the network of wine-growing villages from the lookout tower and also the Zázmoníky nature reserve in the direction of Kobylí. An unusual view from above of the Novomlýnské Reservoirs, Pálava and more will open up in front of you.
The lookout tower is situated right on a very popular part of the Blue Mountains hiking and bike trail and in close proximity to the excellent Across the Land of Andre bike trail.
