You will find this beautiful chateau 35 km northeast of Brno. It was originally a water fortress which was rebuilt into a Renaissance and later a Baroque chateau. The chateau also has a Classicist appearance today. The interiors will captivate you with rich collections of furniture and handicrafts from the Renaissance to the Art Nouveau and historicist styles. Rarities include a collection of Czech glass, weapons and oriental objects.

From June to September, visit the unique terraced chateau garden and column colonnade, along with the only chateau garden centre in the Czech Republic that is open to the public, including an orangery. In February, you can smell camellias in bloom here.

The interiors and exteriors are the epitome of romance, so today the castle is one of the four most popular places for weddings. An annual wedding fair is held here, which includes a tour of the chateau and an accompanying program in the garden.
