Small, attractive, set among beautiful nature. Enjoy contact with animals to the max – the zoo in Hodonín is cosy and direct.
The original zoo corner has grown in size thanks to the demand for the expansion of the area in a magical corner of a floodplain forest. The 800 individuals from domestic and exotic animals represent 230 species. The zoo protects seventy endangered species of fauna from all around the world, thereby fulfilling its basic mission. Rare chimpanzees, green monkeys, the Callitrichidae, lemurs, meerkats, they all need world-wide protection! But you can also see zebras or camels here. The zoo also boasts a marine aquarium with a shark swimming swiftly in it.
There is a space where kids can pet animals and feed them with approved delicacies bought at the cash register. A bouncing castle, motorbikes, train, roundabouts... you will love this natural zoo because it is laid-back and there is no rush.
And if you still have some energy left, the greenhouse in Hodonín is worth a visit on weekdays for all botany lovers.
