Step inside and you will understand why – the airy space and soft light make ancient history come to life. Archaeological sites within the local hills hide entire settlements which were created by modern Homo sapiens in Europe 30,000 years ago. You are just a few steps away from one such site! All you have to do is step behind a glass wall with a special climate and let the projection illuminate the archaeological treasures directly on the surface of the excavated soil. It was a very lively and happening place here in the Paleolithic.
On an area of five hundred square meters you can see original stone tools, objects made from bone and used for hunting and for everyday life, art and rituals, burial and magic. This is where the oldest known evidence of textile production in the world comes from. Technology and multimedia exhibits have been enthusiastically employed here, so the era of our ancestors comes to life in many forms before your eyes.
