A reminder of the centuries-old tradition of cucumber growing and pickling in the Znojmo region.
Visitors can enjoy a rich cultural programme in Hradní Street, near the Znojmo Wine Enoteca and the Rotunda of St. Catherine.
Look forward to a cucumber market, cucumber tastings, a live cooking show, fun activities, and cucumber-themed challenges for children, as well as craft workshops, a parade of vintage tractors, and competitions for both visitors and producers of pickled cucumbers.
The festival will crown the best pickled cucumbers and fermented cucumbers, while contestants can also test their skills in a speed jar-filling competition.
The programme also includes children’s theatre performances, traditional cimbalom music, and a variety of live musical entertainment throughout the day.
