On 10 and 11 July 2024 we will commemorate the 215th anniversary of the last battle of the war of the Fifth Anti-French Coalition of 1809, the Battle of Znojmo.
After the Battle of Austerlitz (1805) and before the Battle of Chlumec (1813) it is the second of the three great Napoleonic battles fought on the present territory of the Czech Republic. Austerlitz z.s. and the Central European Napoleonic Society (C.E.N.S.), together with a number of foreign partners, will prepare the seventh annual (2004, 2008, 2009, 2018, 2019 and 2022) event at the historic battlefield near Znojmo for 10-14 July 2024, with the main programme on Saturday and Sunday 13 and 14 July.
