The science fun park in Pavilion D near the Brno Exhibition Centre and its 180 playful exhibits is a temple of science for the whole family. TOUCHING things is highly recommended! Engage all your senses to discover how nature and the world around us work – the planet, civilization, human beings and the microcosmos.
X-ray eyes, a rotating room (it may leave you queasy), a flood simulator, a larger-than-life model of a human heart...
As it is very lively here, the accompanying program is enjoyed by the local “scientists” just as well as by their spectators. They make shows full of scientific experiments which involve quite a lot of smoke, noise and colour effects. Do you want to launch a hydrogen rocket? Freeze your own shadow? Unleash a tornado? You can do it here.
When you get tired of walking around the exhibits, you can relax and watch a 3D film screening or visit a lab for families with children. Teachers also like to come here, because children are interested in the physics in the educational programs for schools. The events held at the VIDA! After Dark program are specifically for adult visitors.
Physics and learning about the laws of nature is fun for everyone here, so spare a few hours for your visit…
To visit VIDA! Science Centre, you can use the BrnoPas, which brings you tips for interesting places, discounts on admission and many other benefits, including transport around Brno free of charge.
